Al-Jazeera in talks to buy Current TV

News about news: Al-Jazeera has purchased Al Gore’s Current TV, extending viewership for the Qatar-based news channel to 40 million in the United States. Forty percent of the traffic to Al-Jazeera English’s website currently comes from the United States. The new network will be called Al-Jazeera America.

What are your thoughts about this development? How will it affect news reporting in the United States? Have you ever watched Al-Jazeera online?
